Getting Ready For Engagements This Summer

There are a number of engagements waiting for me this summer. After staying in my church for a year, I feel it’s about time to receive invitations from my friends and fellow pastors.

The Bride’s Summer Camp, Lingayen, Pangasinan

Early this year Pastor Robert Ventayen and his colleagues in Pangasinan have invited me to speak in their convention this summer. The camp will be drawing no less than 8 congregation from as far away as Baguio City.

The event is set on April 10-12, 2009. I expect it will be a wonderful time of fellowship since I haven’t seen many of them in many years.

First Anniversary of the local church in Bariis, Aroroy, Masbate

Pastor Benny Villanueva has extended an invitation to speak in his church’s first anniversary in May 20, 2009. I will be accompanied by a team of brothers who are willing and ready to experience mission works.

Pastor Benny was a deacon in my father’s church in my younger days before he was sent by the Lord to his wife’s hometown. He is very much a part of New Life Harvest, not only because he has loved ones in my congregation, but also because we have developed cooperation and coordination in the ministry, in the last few years.

From the province of Masbate our group will go straight to Calbayog City for another event.

Joint Fellowship in Calbayog City, Western Samar

Pastor Felipe Salazar of Calbayog City have been communicating with Pastor Nonoy Togonon since last month. The result is that we will be assisting the local church there in the setting up of a 2-day convention for the benefit of the local churches in the area. The helps will be financial and ministerial.

The event is scheduled to be held in Pastor Salazar’s church on May 23 and 24, 2009.

Some of the oldest Filipino congregations in this Message are in the area of Samar the Visayas. They have had their share in the spiritual battlefield, many of them having been split more once by men who brought in erroneous doctrines. In this fellowship we aim to provide hope and inspiration by the ministering of the Word.
