Operation Help Our Brethren: Mission Accomplished

Operation Help Our Brethren: Mission Accomplished

What started as simply  a response to the emergency needs of our church members who were greatly affected by the storm Ondoy, has become an inter-church cooperation to provide relief goods around Metro Manila and in other areas. I dubbed it Operation Help Our Brethren. And now it is mission accomplished by God’s grace and with the help of concerned brothers and sisters.

The operation was able to send the goods in the areas of Pasig City, Marikina City, Rodriguez, Malabon, Fairview Quezon City, Novaliches Quezon City, Tanay in Rizal province, and as far as Lingayen and Mabini in Pangasinan.

We want to thank the following people and organizations who joined hands and hearts for this work:

  • the families of New Life Harvest  who shared in the form goods, used clothing and cash;
  • the deacons and elders who helped bring the goods to the affected areas;
  • the youths who participated in the one-day trip to Lingayen, Pangasinan;
  • God’s Tabernacle Fellowship and their Pastor for helping in the gathering and distributing of goods to our sister church in Novaliches;
  • Pure Compassion, who sent meal packs and PuR Water Purifier kits; and
  • Voice of God Recordings Phils., for sending their contribution of goods.

I especially want to thank Collin Wiebe and John Edmondson, organizer of Pure Compassion, who personally communicated with me so that the 15 boxes of meals packs and the PuR Water Purifier kits reached us. May God greatly bless his dedication to this kind of service.
